ASA updated version -- need feedback
in reference to the ASA version, I want feedback on how you guys would like to determine the food types required. there were multiple posts of the ASE version using wrong food, well that's because the crazy devs at wildcard set the values wrong. For example .. the Mek is defined as "Omnivore" in the settting, but the file name the settings are in has the name "Carnivore". But the mek isn't either, and should use something different.

So you guys can see that the method isn't exactly the best, but it does work I would say 70-80% of the dinos are correct. that's why i went with that method for the ASE version.

That being said, I have been looking at multiple options such as "looking at taming food" and "looking at after tame food" etc .. but it's not that simple really because of how the game is designed and if I went by those, then things like "kibble" and all would come into play, which is a whole new issue. if I went by only the after-tame food, then it's limited to only specific ones.

So I'm thinking the following, same as the ASE version, but with a slight change.
1. anything marked carnivore == different meat types.
2. anything marked herbivore == different berry types.
3. anything as caric == spoiled meat (spiders, etc)
4. anything as Omnivore == either meat or berrys.

but with a INI adding an override option that if it's defined, then it doesn't use any of the above and instead uses what the admin defined in the iNI. Also having set multipliers for each, for example prime meat giving more healing then raw meat, etc.

Also looking at adding the option to apply the "rapid healing" to wild dinos not in combat, but as an INI option.

have a few other ideas, but want feedback on that method first, or if there another idea / option you guys want me to look into to see how we could do it for the food types and all, let me know.

Honestly your proposed options for food types sounds perfect to me, I would change nothing about it.

The only idea I would like to add is a INI option to customize after how many seconds out of combat the recovery starts

I would like to second Zanmoto's comment, your proposed options sound perfect.

Also just want to mention my general hype to see that you are actually working on this mod still, in my opinion it is the only one that did exactly what I want from a mod like this and I can't wait for this to go live.

any ETA for the asa port? this mod is a blessing and by far the most balanced faster heal mod out there, appreciate what you do :)
Hopefully this is still in the works. There are no good heal mods like you've described in Ascended.

Would be happy as hell with proposed config.
