Q: Will this mod work with an existing save?
A: Yes

Q: Will this mod work with other conduit mods?
A: Yes, your conduit mods will be fine.

Q: Will mods that add battery and power plant still work?
A: Those mods should be fine.

Q: How does this work with the Zzzt event and mods that change the event (like fuses)
A: To retain compatibility with other mods, I have left the Zzzt event alone, this means the Zzzt event will only affect the vanilla grid it triggered on, as such your fuses should still work but the Zzzt surge wont travel through the parallel grid.
