I have the LMW deep storage mod to hold all the tools and weapons I have. I had a colonist equip a hatchet but she almost always immediately drops it and hauls it back to the cabinet. I set the priority of the cabinet to low, too. And I checked if having the hatchet would leave her at full capacity and it doesn't. I'm at a loss and it's super frustrating.
