Kyle's Review of "Suicide Blitz" - 5/5
Expertly made, endlessly fun. 5/5 stars.

Ten years later, Suicide Blitz is still one of the best custom campaigns ever. From start to finish, it's a stunningly polished campaign that equals Valve's design standards while also being easy to navigate and full to bursting with memorable custom set pieces. That's what makes Suicide Blitz unique among other 5-star campaigns, I think -- bombastic set pieces that surprise and delight.

This campaign doesn't skimp on the details, though. The small stuff is equally professional: the foam finger weapon, the football Tanks, the popcorn Atlas, and the iconic Portal easter egg. There are more lovingly crafted small touches here than I can fit in 1,000 characters.

My only possible complaints are missing custom dialogue, not enough Tanks, and low weapon spawns. Survivors will often be forced to use a single weapon type between the 4 of them because weapons usually only spawn in groups of 2 at most. Still, this is the definition of nitpicking. Play this!

EDIT: And how could I forget the custom L4D elevator music remix! Absolute perfection.
