Adding sidearms from other mods
I am wanting to us the biotic amp from the biotic class mod as a utility instead of a sidearm. How would i go about doing that?

Would very much like to know how to do this, so I can add the different cosmetic tiers from three tiered weapon packs, I WANT LATEGAME REVOLVER lol

It seems this mod might be missing on of the key functions from the original mod. At least for me it does not automatically add other secondary weapons from DLC's and mods. However, it appears that it is possible to simply add these weapons manually to the .ini file :steamsunny:

For example, I wanted to add the secondaries from the "Total Advent Weaponry" mod, so I simply add the following lines:

To avoid clutter in the in-game list of available utility items/weapons, I suggest removing lower tier weapons from the .ini as you unlock the higher ones.

Or rather, simply add an ; in front of the one you want to remove from the list in-game, that way if you start a new game you can easily undo it without having to find the correct names again :steamhappy:

I sadly don't use that mod myself, but a really handy tool (also in general) that I use to get the weapon names is "[WOTC] WSR Weapon Skin Replacer - Core" + "[WOTC] WSR Weapon Skin Replacer - Configuration"

Then find the guide called "Weapon Skin Replacer Mod Documentation" (link can be found in the "config" mod), then look for the section called "Weapon Skin Replacer: Troubleshooting" and use this method to get the weapons names printed to the game's log file ;-)

somehow this fixes a problem i have with the original where the original can see the insvisible psiamp(psi underlays) as utility. my only problem with this is that i lost the ability to give modded stuff as utility where the original i can give soldiers pistol utility(even modded one and it comforms to the tier listing, meaning old, weaker weapons gets upgraded properly) while this one is a bit fussy to work with.

EDIT: instead of sticking to the other utility sidearm mod, ive decided to learn this instead as, as it turns out, the other mod kinda breaks any dual wield mods. specifically, it prevents dual wield pistol and melee to work on any soldier, even RPGO-made samurai or akimbo. so instead, ill just support this fully and ive made addition already that im confident to share.
