Mod Disappeared
After clicking the Update button earlier today and getting no progress on the download I gave up. Now I'm back and the mod is no longer in the list though I'm still subscribed. I will be trying to re-subscribe and get back with the results...

...and after the insufferable load time we get nothing.

This can happen with any mod, it's a steam and game issue. Download the mod via the link in the description and install it manually. Also delete Civ5ModsDatabase in My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization V/cache, it might fix the problem for future updates.

Wouldn't that affect any future mods?

This seems to happen to me with this mod.

But I do have a question, if the mod dissappears and I delete the Civ5ModsDatabase and I have to reload all of my mods, does it interfere with my current saved games?

Thanks. I only needed the second part of your instructions to make this work. However, as babymaker and jado predicted, it required that ALL mods be redownloaded (several of which never completed and will likely be missing the next time I play) but this isn't your problem, is it?

Never happened to me, but the saves from modded games are located in the My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization V/ModdedSaves, in case you want to create backups.

It's something that happens to me constantly and that's how I always make it work. I'd tell you if I knew better, but it's an issue with Civ V and the workshop in general, and that's the best solution I could find.

Thank god I didn't buy BNW, this sort of BS from a major dev company is just appalling

Dude, are you sure you've necroed the correct thread? What BS are you talking about, why are you blaming Firaxis and what has BNW got to do with anything?
