Bug Reports
Post any of your findings here, I will look at and fix them when I can!

Known issues:
-MP Stuttering (Partially fixed, investigating high-latency server fix)
-Flyers able to accelerate infinitely when looking at ground
-Flying too fast into water causes flyers to get stuck underwater and be unrideable
-Wyvern attempts to front flip when diving
-Controllers... partially supported? Somehow?
-Evolver reduces level (but not stats?) of some flyers
-Wyvern soar animation not showing to other players
-Immersive Flight does not play well with Pokeball Mod, use Evolver to regain flight abilities.

I found that, if I told my Ptera to go to a location, it accelerates to absurd speeds and just keeps overshooting the spot over and over again. In addition, the Evolver doesn't appear to affect my wyvern, although that may be because I'm using Better Dinos, which also alters them.

@Dr. Wallace
The Ptero issue is caused by the current lack of collisions, as being knocked out of the air by a stray Ptero seemed more annoying to the community than the exploit of accelerating by flying into the ground. Once I figure out how to get my tracers working again, collisions will be added back.

As for the wyverns- Better Dinos wyverns are different from base game wyverns, so they are unaffected by the Evolver, which can only change between base game and BF versions.

I know from the comments that controllers are not... officially supported, however I tamed a ptera and evolved it, went for a flight and had no issue with the controller. sprinting accelerated and releasing it soared, it worked just as described. until; I used the mouse to steer.

No sooner that I moved the mouse, I lost complete control over flight direction by controller. I could go forwards and land, but moving the stick only paned the camera.(at least in flight, it still turns as normal on ground)

This issue is merely an inconvenience to me, however I want to bring it to your attention so that you could address it when you get to point of adding full controller support.

Edit: after an extended session and more flights, I've discovered that the breaking/hover mechanic is responsible for the loss of controller recognition. In my experience, using the break('x' key) without coming to a complete stop, would lock the flier into its current heading, not allowing it to be changed through a controller; not even landing and taking off would fix it. Additionally in several cases, my flier would not gain speed, sprinting or otherwise. only by coming to a complete stop/hover, and then using mouse and keyboard('w' key) to move, would the controller begin to operate correctly.

I would post this under suggestions, but frankly, this is more of a bug/flaw.

I'm attempting to tame a normal argy through a mod from the back of a BF Ptera, and I'm running into to an issue; and that is the BF argys.

I CANNOT ESCAPE THEM!

Even at a full sprint their going a good three times my speed, twice now i've almost lost my Ptera because I couldn't get away. The only thing that saved me was them getting distracted, and as fast as they are, they never fall far enough behind to lose aggro, so if they don't get distracted; they will chase you across the map.

I enjoy the speed that this mod enables fliers to reach, however; they should not be inescapable. especially between two fliers, one of which is naturally faster than the other.

And due to the mod I'm using, I can't fight back either, if I do; the tame will fail.

@pcfixer40 Found the problem! While Pteros are faster than Argents in the base game because of their sprinting- They have the same base speed. So, Argents were actually able to move about 1.5x as fast as Pteros in this mod. The issue has been fixed and once I can fix the Argent animations it will be uploaded!

Going to be following this Mod religiously. Cant wait to run this on my servers!

Once this is fixed I will be happy to use this mod again

Bug: Wyvern moves forward constantly and is impossible to stop, and evolver doesn't seem to work on certain wyverns. (Not sure which ones, it seems random)

Also, the Immersive Taming mod doesn't seem to work with BF flyers. Though I'm hoping the spawning of BF flyers in the wild will be removed completely because of a lot of these issues of them acting ridiculous and being super fast.

@DragonBrigade
I use Immersive Taming and have tamed BF flyers. well nearly tamed, low level character on center, they flew across the water partway through. However they were accepting the baits like their vanilla counterparts, the only issue was keeping up with them to drop a bait.
DragonBrigade 26 Mar, 2018 @ 6:00am
@pcfixer40 Oh! Okay. Maybe I just suck at throwing bait. But yea, the flyer's vanilla AI is not equipped to deal with the mechanics from the mod.
DragonBrigade 28 Mar, 2018 @ 11:46am
Bug: Evolver reduces level of creature (BF-Vanilla went from 212 to 179) and resets the mating timer. I think the stats stayed the same but the level is way lower than it was when I tamed the BF flyer.

After slowing downing to sa standstill with "X" and then hitting "W" I seem to have full speed. I am using a pteranodon. Also, with the first bug that was reported I am also not able to get my pteranodon to land.

These could be user errors, if so, just let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

I recently tried out this mod and absolutely love the new flight dynamics. I don't know if the TLC update for the Argys is the cause, but the evolver seems to turn them into strange zombie-like creatures with the saddle stretching from the beak reins to below the belly. Additionally I found that evolving/devolving an Argy causes many engrams in the new smithy inventory to duplicate and oddly not even place random duplications in the appropriate location with the other duplicates. Reloading the game does not help. My favorite Argy's inventory is a cluttered mess at the moment so I had to hide engrams to use it without scrolling a painfully long way down. If you can find a fix for this I would be extremely greatful. FYI, I am also running S+, Builders Helmet, Arkaley Dino Tracker, and Solar Panels mods (in case that helps).
Stilgar  [developer] 17 May, 2018 @ 5:32pm
@MarkusAurelious Currently the new Argy is not in the Dev Kit, and thus I cannot update it. Considering how long it's taking to update the Dev Kit, maybe it would even be better for me to polish up some of my planned update's features and release (removing the ability to convery vanilla Argy's to modded ones, as the modded ones are outdated)

Love the mod its amazing, just noted on my multiplayer server the dive shows to others but the soaring for the wyvern just shows them flapping to other players, doesent show the soar animation except to the rider.
