we just need this, but a way to easily get to the top faster, like a teleporter that is apart of the map, or something. just as it is right now its too large a map.

No. It's perfectly fine.
It needs to be like that, or overwise you would not get as much satisfaction from climbing it.
It's not like someone would have problem in downloading this map because of the size of said map.
EDIT: Also... this post is not sarcastic at all!

Someday, you could develop it to the absolute LIMIT of the map, taking an nearly INFINITE amount of time to the top. The map could be called, 'HighestTower,' or 'Highertower xInfinity'

I mean... you can make it visually look like infinite tower... using "portals".

And I'm not only thinking of "Portal" games, but in several Valves games we could see this kind of trick.

(This is where I try to explain what I mean and I might do it horribly wrong - there are videos wich do it better on YouTube. I wanted just share the idea.)

Basicaly you set camera wich will look in one direction, and set another object which would show what that camera see. In Half-Life, for example (I think 2, but I never actually played those games so can't be absolutly sure) there were those monitors wich showed one guy who speaks (or was announcing something, thats not the point). Valve actually place a model with those animations somewhere players canot reach normaly, and leave that animated model with camera wich was looking at that model, then set some objects to show what that camera sees.
Very similary were made portals in, well... Portal games. But on top of that they also add code wich teleports objects and aply correct forces wich were working on that object at the moment it crosses portals.

Because we have seen portals in action on the same engine as Team Fortress 2 (Portal was made on that engine), we know for sure it could be absolutly possible to set some really large portals, one at the ground level, the other just around top of the tower, and make "infinite" tower. It would be looped tower, but it technicly could counts, I think?

The only trick is to import some key codes from Portal to Team Fortress 2 or as actually working plugin. Either that or to write it exacly the same as in Portal.
That includes visual effect AND teleportating objects (maybe wihout rotation part - just copy and pasting values for forces would be enouth).

...

Or we could just copy and paste more of those towers... yeah, that works too.
