Global Spawning
I've only used the specific spawn locations before, but if I use the global spawn, will it spawn dinos in their correct locations? (ex: sarcos in swamp/jungle, raptors along the beach/grassland, yutys in the mountains/cold regions.)

No, it will spawn them completely randomly across the map.

If its a land dino will it still try spawning in Ocean Biomes on global setting?

yes land dinos spawn in water and water dinos spawn under the map in the water if its a land spawn point
