Question and concerns about dino spawning

Will they spawn underground if the depth or the area is underground? and will they spawn in the air if the box isnt on the ground?

If the bottom of the box is within the ground but the top of the box is above ground, the dinos will spawn on the ground if they are not flyers, flyers will spawn in the air.

If no part of the box is touching the ground, the dinos will spawn in the air within the box.
