Please remove cydon plax
He is WAY too OP. He took a planet single handedly. His hitbox is terrible you cant even do damage to him and his weapons kill squads with just two rockets. The damage output is enormous. Can ANYTHING kill this guy?

Please either remove or nerf

Rather than remove him, please work on ensuring that weapons properly hit him. The units I've noticed that missed every time are AT-AP, turbolaser towers, infantry units, BARC speeders, AT-PT, and Saber tanks won't fire missles at him.

I got turbolasers to work on him. He has to be facing a certain direction in order for it to hit. Saber tanks missiles work for me and do some damage to him. But the most effective method I found to work on him are gunships.

He's just busy with real life. If you look on the mods comments section you'll see he's been active recently.

As of right now I see Cydon like what if they have the HMP gunships shields in terms of how overpowered he can truly be I think a great way to nerf him would be to fully remove his shield,reduce his hull strenght and make it so if the CIS losses him he's died for good and just nerf him across the board though I don't know if I'd fall into the remove him completely camp.
I think in general though the this really brings out the fact that the Republic does have a lot of strong ground units but one big issue is they have is they have no way to properly counter aircraft like Cydon or the dreaden HMP's gunship which really if you think about it could act like a higher tier bomber for the CIS in space rather then on the ground but then the CIS wouldn't have a gunship/transport when the Republic has the LAAT but in general it's hard to balance air units on the ground cause on the one hand they can be either useless and get 1 shot by anti air guns or they can be extremely overpowered to where almost nothing can counter them like in base Republic at war or even the ground X-wings the Rebels get from there field commanders in AOTR.

The gunship looks perfectly balance to me. The ai always makes air turrets so I cant provide air support in certain areas until my troops destroy them. It cant get one shot but it can still take alot of damage from just one burst from the turret.

But Cydon I would say yes remove his shield but nerf his hull a little bit because he is a hero after all and the clone wars game he's from gives him alot of health. But I do agree when he dies he should be gone for good. But make him so he doesnt spawn naturally but a hero you can buy but when he dies he's gone perminately. I found that if I dont have gunships or saber tanks I have no chance of putting up a decent fight at all. Only gunships can beat him. He can keep that burst ability but make it have a long recharge time

He does know. He's mentioned it in both the comments on the homepage and in the bugs section :-)

Temporary solution: Reduce his health to 100 and his shield point to 100 in his XML document. It keeps the challenge of him being a hero character that's hard to kill while making it not impossible to kill him. This means that it'll take a few shots to kill him, but the issue of him being hard to hit balances it out. You CAN hit him, it's just hard to. Bad news is that you'll probably have to restart your entire game (not Empire at War, but your entire run)

It's not exactly balanced that you cant hit such a big ass target and can only damage him at a very specific angle and he has the firepower of two of the most powerful units in the empire. He single handedly conquered one of my planets and im not kidding. There was two squads of soldiers but I killed them easily and when Cydon rolls up I lost everything. His weakness is AT-TE's and the planet just so happened to be a facility planet for producing them. I had ALOT of AT-TE's on that planet and they did nothing to him. He takes the fun out of it. I think with him alone you can conquer the galaxy

I changed Cydumb Pricks's XML file and I didn't have to start a new game. I did make a backup of it though in case I run into bugs later on.
