Calculate Monster Stats?
My playgroup has been using the Gloomhaven Helper app to run our game, going back to the pre-Covid times when we were playing in paper. It flips the cards for the monsters, but instead of showing you the monster as having base 3 move and 3 attack and then showing you a card that says -1 Move +2 Attack, it just shows you 2 move and 5 attack. I have really enjoyed it doing the calculation for me, taking one less thing I have to think about out of the equation.

We took a few months off this summer, and just came back and updated our TTS save to the one that gives you the monster movement and attack above each standee. This is a neat feature and I like it, but it's a little confusing because we're used to having those stats calculated and now we're seeing the old stats above the monster. Can we do one of the following?

1. Actually have the stats above each standee calculate and change based on the card that is flipped?
2. Have those base values not show above the monster at all, so we can keep using Gloomhaven Helper and not see a confusing second set of stats?

I think there are no more developing been done for this mod anymore.

That being said, our group doesnt find it confusing at all, dunno why you would use helper app when TTS does almost everything?

We'd been using the helper app for the first like 30 scenarios in paper long before we went into the online version. The one thing the helper does better than the mod is calculating the stats. I really like it, not having to do that calculation on my own every time I look at something.

There's enough stuff to track in this game already, having one less nitpicky little thing to keep track of every time gives me more brainpower to spend on strategy.

the mod is still under developlment, as far as I know .. but people have a dayjob, too ;)
but I also would love to have the option to calculate the stats in the initiative tracker like this:

calculating stats is very needed by this mod.

I wouldn't say it`s something that is very needed, since you have everything on the table and initiative tracker to do the math yourself, it`s more of a QOL improvement for lazy people or the ones that really suck at math haha :)

so you guys are still fixing things and considering QoL ? I got a few bugs I didnt post, seeing there hasnt been an update since June.

problem not in math 2+1.

problem what you need remember different numbers for make monster turn

if rules was "all move" then "all attack" it's was easy: calculate, make move, calculate make attack

but rules say "move one, attack one, move ane... " and you need to rememer and switch betveen calculatet results.

for example card 585 need remember result of calculation move/attack/distance, for elite and regular

player must make proper turn (all rules for monster actions). and additional remembers not good.
and must addition different monster attack modificators for remembered calcelated values.

for novices it's not easy. and gloomhaven helper calculate stats make turn much easy and comfort.

Isaac make calculate stats for cheeper the game. not for comfortable playing. and so strange listen from peaple who make big hard excellent things for tts mod, that "it's normal to make calculations", which may be avoided.

playing with calculated stats more comfortable and natural.

fs mod make most things is excellent/best practice for gloomhaven gameplay. except of calculation stats.

players says "big thanks"(addition to "huge thanks" for fs mod) if you make this feature.

For our group its definately not a big deal, just a minor QoL. I would rather you spend time and effort fixing bugs

there is quite a few haha.

for instance, inititative tracker is wrong, when another player plays a medpack recieved from Saw.

Medpack fix - Just rename the card to have the correct class name if you are going to use it as the initiative card. We would have the MedPacks per player so I just handed out the correct one to each player or renamed it as needed.
