Back again, messing with the world, this time it's about trying to fight Lycans, Tribal Dragon CBs, and Vampires suck.
Alright, it's been a while since I last did a big run about in Mythos and well... came into a big flaw with how the Lycan system of ruler change messes with other countries attempting to war them.

So effectively unless you can finish a war in one month, trying to fight a Lycan culture realm will fail, the moment the rulers change, you get a CB reset, though I don't know how you'll fix this with the core mechanics of CBs in CK2 unless you either hamper the challenge mechanic or make the "Alpha" status be a title rather than a leadership position...

Even that would be wonky mechanically unless you somehow used the Suzerian mechanic as the alpha, but that would mean that it could be kicked out by someone warring for a tributary...

Even if you China them (the Alpha I mean) it would NPC your leader...

It almost needs a scripted over-court built... something like a site or great wonder... a Lycan grove... that is controlled by the Alpha giving them troops relative to the subordinate Lycan power and opinion.

It should be a requirement to forming a Lycan government in that case.

That way, if the Suzerian changes it shouldn't in theory stop the war against the Lycans territory.

Additionally I was messing with the tribal dragons this time and I've noticed that unless you time your subjugation right, there's no hope of you getting a kingdom to be able to push other CBs. As a tribal they can't fabricate claims, and normal pagans aren't counted as possible aggression targets for the Draconic Tribal other than to force tribute, meaning you gotta play the extra long game of seeding kids into their lands and forging CBs that way.

Also, once again I found that Giants aren't getting their axe traits when they're born to players... is it tied to a society?

Finally on Vampires, trying to make a vampire society really doesn't work with the current mechanics, you blow through way too many courtiers... or technically your vampire courtiers blow through your bloodbag courtiers, and buying new courtiers (other than holy men) gets expensive after a while.

My first suggestion is to tone down how frequently you gotta drain someone, every year having to buy up 15 or so courtiers just to burn them out by the end really gets old fast.

Second, if possible have buildings set up to slow or halt the need for feeding ("Cattle" pens for example) so you're not constantly harvesting prisoners and courtiers. Obviously this is an option for when you're exposed, but you might want to offload this into a society maybe?

Barring that have a "Public" hunt rather than your court with a higher risk of exposure and blowback in non vampiric cultures (there should still be some blowback in vampiric cultures but it should be reduced significantly)
