Bug Reports
Please put all bug reports and similar issues here.
Walls of text are welcome.. just don't make it impossible to read.

Provide things as follows:

Please provide as much information relating to the issue as possible.

provide the logs that the game outputs if you are having a technical problem.
(I'll ask you for whichever one of the log files I need)

provide a save file if your problem can be repeated on the save file. (i.e crashing on a certain date)

provide screenshots where relevant. (Its surprisingly useful)

For some reason every character has Merchant Republic clothing rather than their local clothing regardless if Indian, European, or Arab etc.

When you found the Jotun Fylkirate it Completely Changes your characters name in a VERY immersion breaking ad stupid way.

PS please give us a "No hat" option in the character maker

Also it seems this somehow interferes with the weaponsmith and goldsmith events. Not sure why, but with this mod enabled the game says the events don't exist.

I'm not sure why the character creator is using merchant republic clothing, but I will look in to it. I can't add a no hat option to that, since that would require me to distribute DLC exclusive content.

The Jotun Fylkirate has regnal names set, similar to the Popes and Patriatchs.

Can you provide more details on the smithing issue? They are working fine for me. Are you running any other mods? Is the decision missing or just not doing anything? What's you character's government, religion, and culture?
It always crashes when loading flags. I'm on the current version.

I'd consider this a very severe bug.
Some time in every playthrough so far starting from the viking era start date, I've crashed, which very likely indicates that the mythical race AI is crashing the game somehow.

What operating system are you running? Mac OS has problems with some mods, and i suspect this may be the issue, considering most people haven't had such a problem.

Additionally, try the direct download version from the Paradox Fourms. Some mods just have problems with the steam workshop, and this is the best solution (unsubbing and resubbing doesn't work for certain systems).

I'm crashing consistently about a year after loading a saved game. I loaded with character creater unlocker, but I don't think it has anything to do with it. Those first 22 lines are either the same or very similar for each error log I get when I crash. https://pastebin.com/kT64xJYQ

Hey there is a bug with the current version using merchant republic, where the designated heir is no longer working, the title still exists but the game no longer registers it as your "heir" and continues to follow the oldest son, if the election does happen, the oldest son then indeed inherits and your designated heir doesn't.

I get a simmilar error/crash, but not nearly as often.
Annoyingly after loading from a savegame my character and their children(and only them) lose all supernatural traits.

I'm constantly having draconic culture, draconic religion, draconic gfx culture characters not having the dragon trait. Is there an event which should/could give it to them?

Also, if you are overqualified alchemy doesn't do anything. If I read the code right this is caused by the relevant variable's maximum being 9 ( set = 1 + hightest mage education = 4 + 45 learning = 3(at 15 30 and 45, right?) + lesser key of solomon = 1 ) with outcomes only being defined up to 8.

Whenever I try to reform the Germanic Faith as a Draconic I've either turned into a draconic horde(when previously draconic tribal) or gotten a game over (when draconic feudal). Also, when trying to restore the Roman Faith (as Hellenic) I went from being feudal to getting no-government.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the draconic government types.

I've noticed that the werewolf trait doesn't pass on giving the 'pup' trait I have found in the files and in the old mod, and have had about 10 children none carrying on the werewolf trait or pup trait and me having to turn them when they are older..... dont know if its a problem my end or with the mod

There's this event; it was a bit of a workaround to prevent weird things from happening thanks to the AI, and randomly generated characters to fill courts. There's a few things it doesn't apply to, but those don't have custom cultures. In our in-house testing, all pre-made characters worked fine without such strangeness, and ones i've tried personally have never had such problems. Try it with Draconic culture, and the dragon trait. The religion doesn't matter as far as i remember.

Might be a bug, or just the % screwing you over. keep on trying on the same save, and if it continues, upload it to google drive or something and put it up here.

It specifically doesn't apply to any characters made by the player (the event that does this does a lot of other things too, and we didn't want it being really annoying deleting your traits), at least from what i remember; i didn't do much work on that event myself. It also happens to be the same event that @chiefoftherednecks is talking about.
