I'm having a similar problem since the last update. In the end I unsubbed from everything, deleted all folders and subbed just to this mod and the character extender, then I've had this at the end of my logfile:

Alright, I need you to do a few things.
FIRST, unsubscribe from both SWCM and this mod.
THEN unsubscribe the Universe Generation mod.
Try and run both mods, separately, first by running Starbound Awakens WITHOUT the Universe Generation mod.
Then, if all goes well, remove the Starbound Awakens mod, then run the 2nd one.
Finally, re-install the Starbound Awakens mod and see what happens.

Let me know the results.
I can assure you that at present, though, that my game runs fine with the TrueSpace mod which changes planet generation somewhat.

I was never subscribed to the SWCM, because I thought this was a complete replacement. Anyway I've already tried unsubbing and resubbing with different mod combinations before, but I repeated it to make sure. The game starts fine unless I'm subbed to this mod here. I've now tried the SWCM and Universe Generation together too and it runs fine also. I also want to mention that I did play with both the Starbound Awakens mod and the Universe Generation mod together for several hours before without any problems. I just closed the game for a bit, unsubscribed from the armorsmith mod that give you all race armor options and when I wanted to start it again, it didn't work anymore, therefore I first thought it was an incompatibility, but later noticed that there was an update to the starbound awakens mod ( 6:01pm my time) that was after I stopped playing and before I wanted to start again, leading me to believe it might have something to do with that.

It's the Universe Generation mods that are causing issues right? hmmmm. Guess I will need to look into it, but I cannot guarantee results so fast.

I don't think so, the game runs fine with the Universe Generation mod alone, and with the Generation mod and SWCM, However even if I unsub from the Universe Generation mod, it still crashes when I'm subbed to Starbound Awakens, at least since that update today.

I have checked the current version of Starbound Awakens on Steam (not my private copy), now I will try running Universe Generation too.

You are right, there was some issue. I however have made some changes, it should be working nicely now.

I can comfirm it works again, thank you very very much! :steamhappy:

I found a bug with a carbonite chair. It just looks like backless stool.
I can show screenshots with this, but only via Telegram or Facebook. Can you give me a link to any of your accounts?

There is no need, because I know what the issue is. Further, Carbonite items are set to be revamped along with the Jedi weps/abilities system. Quite a number of beds are bugged ie there are no sheets when you sleep and I am trying to fix 'em.

hey just a heads up in the guard_dialog file in the hails for mawg you put and extra space after the { key, which made guards die whenever they would hail me, i dont know much about modding so it could have been an incompatibility with some other mods i have (which there is a LOT of them so i expect this kind of thing to happen) but changing this made it stop so you know, you should check it out just to be sure, in any case thanks for the cool mod :D

Thanks for the scoop, @Lobo. Will be checking that later.

I posted this is the comments but I think its more appropriate to be posted here. There is an error where the Fenerox will not talk or interact with you. I found the issue. Its in the fenerox.config.patch down around line 70 there should be a "," and a skipped line. I added it and repacked it and now it works fine.
