Purple squares on a skin

My friend minerguyer said he was seeing his skin and mine in purple squares like a missing textures, what i do to fix it?

was it on a server? if it was on a server and someone els made it and this was on it that means you need to get the mod or get CS:S(Counte Strike Sorce)
