[Resolved] I downloaded It but nothing Is showing up...
I Subscribed restarted the game restarted steam everthing I could think of but when I go into the map tool I don't see anything new maybe I'm doing it wrong idk It has been over 8 years from last time I played... anyone got a clue what I should do?

Problem fixed: My issue was I was trying to use the toolset with this and workshop does not work with toolset had to download manualy.

If you are having another issue like the game tells you you need the files to connect to a server but you are subscribed I suggest you go ahead and download them manualy and install them.

Same here. Are we doing something wrong here?

Hi guys. The CEP doesn't change anything in the base game. What it does is gives module builders additional graphics and content to use in their own games. In other words, you won't see the content unless the module you're playing uses the CEP.

Hope that clears things up a bit!

No that does not clear anything up... How do I load them into the MapTool I have been trying for hours...

If by "MapTool" you mean the toolset, I don't believe the CEP will show up there unless you manually install it. You should go to the vault and download it, place it in your My Documents/Neverwinter Nights/ directory in the appropriate folders (hak, tlk, etc.)

Here's a link to the vault posting: https://neverwintervault.org/cep

Okay downloaded and put in the folder but nothing shows up in the "toolset"

Great, so your next step is to make a module in the toolset. Then you go to Edit -> Module Properties. Click the Custom Content tab and add the hakpaks in the correct order. The order is:

cep2_add_doors (optional)

cep2_add_loads (optional)

Phenotypes Set: (optional)
cep2_add_phenos1
+ cep2_add_phenos2
+ cep2_add_phenos3
+ cep2_add_phenos4

cep2_add_reforge (optional)

cep2_add_skies (optional)

CEP-Modified Tilesets: (optional)
cep2_add_tiles1
+ cep2_add_tiles2

Extended BioWare Tilesets + CEP-Modified Tilesets: (optional)
cep2_ext_tiles
+ cep2_add_tiles1
+ cep2_add_tiles2

cep2_build (optional)

cep2_custom (optional)

Required:
cep2_top_2_65
cep2_core0
cep2_core1
cep2_core2
cep2_core3
cep2_core4
cep2_core5
cep2_core6
cep2_core7

Not a Hak, but Required:
cep260.tlk

Outdated Haks:
The download includes other "cep2_" hak files that are not currently used,
but are kept available for backwards compatibility back to CEP 2.1 (meaning
a player with the current CEP can still play modules/PWs that were/are
built with older versions).

If you have any problems please continue to post. Happy to help!

Custom content is a little more complex... but let me point you to a bunch of guides that should help.

Does this mean the CEP files have to be duplicated in both the steam directory and in MyDocuments? Or can you just unsubscribe the steam workshop after manually installing them in MyDocuments and expect everything to work fine?

You only need the ones in MyDocuments if you are using the toolset.

I would assume the ones in MyDocuments would work just fine i think BeamDog should fix it so workshop subscriptions work with ToolSet
Zunath 2 Apr, 2018 @ 2:29am
If you manually install them, you do not need to subscribe. And yes, I agree - the toolset should really pick up the files you subscribe to.

When does the Workshop download the CEP DLC? I started the game but still can't logon to a server requiring CEP260.tlk!

It should download when you are not running a game if it has not downloaded try resarting steam if that does not work try manual install
