well if you think about it if you used a war paint with no team color's then thats a problem because no one is going to know what team it is on unless he gets shot or hits it.

i think only team color paints should go on the buildings and pda

In fact, there are already restricitons on certain war paints. Some paints can only be used on certain items. There could very well be some team colored war paints in the future that could be added to your construction. I know I'd be down to making some.

I need a break from skinning buildings before I go doing any more though. It's actually a huge pain to do. You have to consider every level of every building and every gib, then multiply that by 2 for the team colors.

It doesn't help that the textures are super messy. It's very confusing trying to figure out what part of the texture is what.

i love this idea, and personally i would love to have my own wooden sentry thats on fire lol or an american flag sentry thats shooting down soldiers.

Easy. You either only change the darker metal bits like I did with the australium, or it could be a team colored skin that changes the team colored parts. I bet buildings with plaid for the team colored parts would look kinda cool.

zuko, here is are a few free ideas because I can't do it. I have tried learning to 3d model but its to complicated. either that or im to stupid

1. Give the demoman a Lance for the "journey to the east" update. call it "Lance of Lamancha"
in the story 'Journey to the East" Don Quixote is one of the charecters it fits with the theme, is simple enough to make, and would be simple enough for the game to put in and not need to many balance changes. it could even have several forms and pair nicely with demo's shields instead of his swords.

2. Give engineer a chest plate of armor. just a simple piece over his chest. call it "Don Conager"
'Don' has multiple meanings "to put on a person", "a gentelman", and "a scholar". Conager is the family name. It can come in Roman cheast form, knight form (like don quixote), or metal plate from back to the future form. it is a replacement for your PDA and works in well in medeavil mode. giving engineer a total of 175 health (but you can't build anything with your PDA since you don't have it anymore)

3. Give engineer phalanx-charging fire-gourd (which would replace primary/shotgun) it fires multiple arrows/shrapnel at once. much like a shotgun.


4. Give the soldier the Bamboo cannon slow reload time but has a big colorful blast radious. (slow enough to not rocket jump)

i have more ideas if you need them. like i said i can't model things on the computer so here are some cool ideas to use. it would be nice if i could at least get referenced in the creation of the item though.

the sentry needs a little work but other than that its pretty cool
