How To Use The Splatoon - Robo Inklings (And Octolings) Textures
So I realise NO ONE posted in the comments or even an discussion about how to get these texture to work. While I'm sure most of the people that have this addon all ready knows what to do, I figured I'll post how to get these textures to work. So here's how to get the textures: 1: Your gonna need the Enhanced Inklings addon (obviously) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=572513533&searchtext=enhanced+inklings the next addon you'll need the SubMaterial Tool addon so you can change the texture of the shirt to use a texture from this addon https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=405793043&searchtext=SubMaterial+Tool the next addon you'll need is Splatoon - Robo Inklings (And Octolings) A.K.A This addon https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1319562361 another addon you'll need is the TF Color addon. This will change the color of the Inkling/Octoling as well as the color of the texture your using. The next and final addon is the Extended Spawnmenu, this needed so you can go into an option that will alow you to use these textures. 2: Go in Garry's Mod Now with the Extened Spawnmenu go down until you see the "Browse Materials" option. Click "+" on that and click "+" on the "Addons" option. Now scroll down until you see "Splatoon - Robo Inklings (And Octolings)". Click the "+" and click the "+" on the folder inside it. Now click on the folder in the folder and you'll see all the textures for each shirt. Now DON'T leftclick becuase that'll use the Material tool and we want to use the SubMaterial tool. So rightclick on the texture you want and click: "Copy to clipboard". 4: Go to the SubMaterial tool and change the current materal to mat ID you copied to the clipboard by using ctrl+v(Which is pasting). 5: Spawn and Inkling or Octoling now you to use and hover over the Inkling/Octoling using the SubMaterial tool. Now use the MouseWheel to go to the body texture of the model that looks like the same patten as the texture you want to use. Leftclick the body texture and and there you go! Do the same with the Eyelid texture but use the eye texture and you have a Robotic Inkling/Octoling. I hope this helped this helped you with trying to find the textures. At first I didn't know how to get them until I searched every nook and cranny on getting these textures. I hope this helped you to get the textures you need to make your Inkling/Octoling into a robot! For an easy way. I made dupes of Iinkling Boy, Inkling Girl and Octoling with gray color and a color that's there respective color (Ex: Inkling Boy = Blue). So if you don't wanna go through a painfully hard time, good idea to get the dupes. If not then that's okay! I just came to help all of the people that are not only new to game, but to also help people that are confused at how this works like how I was until I figured it out. Enjoy the addon!

Textures:
splatoon/robo/android
splatoon/robo/androideye
splatoon/robo/killer
splatoon/robo/killereye

Fun Fact: This tutorial is Copy-And-Paste from another tutorial on how to get the Splatoon Game Shirt Textures to work. It's the same guide but it's refrencing that addon instead this addon which I changed a few things to talk about this addon instead of the Splatoon Game Shirt Textures addon. So due to this reason this guide was made ALOT quickly then the other tutorial.

Still black textures on my end.

@paw1999 Huh? From what I did it still works. What caused this to happen? Show me a screenshot of the problem along with the menu of the SubMeterial tool just for safe mesure.

@paw1999 I see. The body is supost to be the "andorid" texture. While the eyes are the "androideye" texture. But instead you did "android" for BOTH the body and the eyelid texture. Just remember that so that mistake dosen't happen. That used to happen until I knew what to do. I hope that helps!

Uh, no. Actually, if it's JUST for the body like you claimed, then it's still black textures. Even without the eyelid, black textures are still there.
paw1999 16 Apr, 2018 @ 6:19pm
In fact, if the problem is both, like you claimed, then how does it make black textures if even ONE on the body and not on the eyelids are still black?

I may be an amatuer at this, but I doubt that this is the case.

Oh. I did mention it's a copy and paste from the tutorial from how to get the Splatoon Game Shirt Texture to work. I might change this guide to say that. Woops. Here's how it works: Use "android"/"killer" for the body texture and "androideye"/"killereye" for the eyelid texture. If you wanna change the color, use the TF Color addon. This also changes the color of the Inkling/Octoling as well! And I did post a starter pack for this tutorial as a dupe for this addon.
RetroGamer429 16 Apr, 2018 @ 6:26pm
Changed the guide to say the textures that are included and what textures you need to use to replace a specific texture for your Inkling/Octoling!
RetroGamer429 16 Apr, 2018 @ 6:39pm
Okay.
paw1999 16 Apr, 2018 @ 6:39pm
This is STRAIGHT from the starter pack.
