Idea: Insect Structures (And automatically build hives)
I honestly love this mod, It makes insects feel more logical, though I feel like they should produce a hive when they are more established, and to do this I am proposing an idea.
Keep in mind these are just ideas, I don't except them to be added, just considered.

Insect Structures and Hives
Gelatinous Chitin
Gelatinous Chitin adds a new conversion recipe for all that leather left from converted corpses, Insects use this new material for hive construction, colonists can use this material too, however it is extremely weak and ugly.

Chitin Structures
Insects can use Gelatinous Chitin to build walls, doors, floors and special objects that benefit Insects, These objects could be;
  • Temperature Nexus: Used to keep the interior of a hive at a stable temperature.
  • Chitin Traps: A floor trap that greatly slows a non-insect pawn.
  • Toxic Spewer: A small pillar that when equipped with Jelly, causes a small cloud of toxic gas that builds up in non-insectoid organic pawns much like toxic fallout.
  • Glow Pod: Exactly the same as the vanilla one, just needs to be built instead

interesting ideas, sounds very complex for AI though.

Well I suppose it would be, But I do believe it can be done, even if its just the structures and not the walls!
