1444-1945?
It would be good if you add Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union and the de facto and Bolshevik dictatorships and that the nations, of the time with their respective units, especially Germany, Russia and Italy.

I agree that it would be awesome to game that covers such an expanse of history however I do not think it is possible to do in a modifcation of a game that is not equiped, or intended, to undertake the sweeping shifts that occured away from it's focus.

At one point the line tactics used by the battle system, the provincial areas extrapolated by the map and simplicity of the diplomacy all reach a limit as the modern world adds complexity untop of complexity. At some point the abstraction offered by the representation given by the game becomes absurd and do not do justice to the peroid of history it is trying to represent.

I think the end date set by this mod encompasses the limits, argrueably overextends, of the peroid. The amount of effort required to do the later parts of the peroid in a representative way is (almost) overwhelming. Not only by sheer weight of the passage of time covered but by the scope of focus that increasingly extends past Europe from which the game takes it's namesake.

If you are after the rough extrpolation of all time peroids I highly recommend the Extended Timeline mod. It does a bit of everything for everyone and offers more of the same experince over a much longer timespan.
