Back to the original posting on nexus where I posted in progress screenshots of the helm, I have seen lots of different opinions on how the texture of the helm should look.

Personally, I tried to straddle the middle and make it somewhat aged/distressed but not alltogether corroded and black.

So I guess I am looking to gather opinions in a consolidated location for how people would like to see the texture altered.

One notion I was contemplating was using more of the etched texture that appears on the top of the helm between the spires (he black background with silvery pattern) in other areas and also extend that to the eventual texture on the rest of the armor pieces that I am working on.... would make it fairly dark but also somewhat ornate....

Anyhow, please give your two cents if the spirit moves you...
