How to Control your Red Hooded Rebel.
(FINALLY updated due to the addition of Ice Bombs.)

Greetings, welcome to the "Tutorial", yeah, I know, you want to get on with things, beat up the bad guys, do the whole "Superhero" thing, blah blah blah. Well, everyone's gotta start somewhere and Little Miss Mustache over here doesn't control quite the same as Hat Kid, trust me, when you're hip deep in trouble later on you're going to be glad you read through this. Now, I'm here to teach you about her differences and new Abilities, you follow me? Well... stop following me or I'll have you arrested.

Lesson 1: What's a Wallrun?
Uh huh, you just couldn't resist jumping down a hole could ya? And that little Wallrun thing Hat Kid has seems to just not work for Mustache Girl, but who needs that, its Basic. You can get a little extra Height off a wall by Kicking it in mid-air, keep in mind after that little "Kick Jump" you can't pull yourself up edges, no idea why, but its something you've got to be aware of, note that you can kick out of a dive too so don't be afraid to be a little gutsy with your "Shortcuts" if you feel that extra height from the Kick will let you get away with it.

Lesson 2: Explosives and how to use them.
Ok, the topic at hand is "Bomb usage", but let's get one thing straight first, do NOT try this at home, your legs aren't nearly tough enough. Ok? Good, now that the Public Service Message is out of the way, to use your bombs, just press Shift, needless to say, anything they hit is going to hurt them and certain objects will get totaled, they also get thrown immediately unlike Hat Kid's Brews which need to be charged and they get flung a lot farther as well.

If you want to catapult yourself 20 feet in the air, jump up first, then throw a bomb right as you land, this will actually give you more height then Hat Kid doing a Double Jump Wallrun and combining this with the Wall Kick can let you get to some places Hat Kid can't reach normally. But Wait! There's more! You can use your bomb blasts to bounce of Walls as well with a pseudo "Wall Jump" and you even chain between walls that are 90* apart from each other to get to some insane Heights that Hat Kid could only dream of reaching without 2 walls being conveniently next to each other. You can even throw a bomb in the middle of a dive to "Pogo" yourself across the ground or sketchy platforms, this is faster then running normally, sure, but you can't turn worth beans so watch it.

You also have Dweller Bombs that serve a similar purpose to the Dweller Mask, except they allow you to bomb jump off Dweller Platforms and even Dweller Walls, keep in mind, the area of effect of the Dweller field is both larger and lasts longer if you throw the bomb while on the ground. For both these Explosives you can only use 4 of them in a single uninterrupted Jump chain before they go on cooldown so make sure you have a clear destination in mind if you're going over a bottomless chasm.

Lesson 3: Who needs an Umbrella.
Ready to dish out some old-fashioned Justice? Pressing the Attack Key, in this case Left-Mouse will do a Slap on the ground, or a flying Kick in the Air, these don't quite have the range of an umbrella or homing attack but they get the Job done and can stun-lock Mafia just fine. You might want to practice getting used to them on the weaker enemies first to get a feel for the range so guys like them will only be speed-bumps on your way to bigger baddies.

Lesson 4: Ice Platforms and how they used to be terrible.
Do you all remember when Little Red Mafia Murderer couldn't do anything about those all-mighty Ice Platforms? Well now you no longer have to put up with their nonsense! The addition of the Ice Bomb let's you turn yourself, or your friends, into a statue of Ice with a simple swing of the arm. If you want to turn yourself into a statue and catapult off Ice Platforms, simply do the same thing you would do with a normal Bomb but right on top of the platform, the moment you turn to Ice you'll be sent flying. Now its completely possible to beat the entire game as our Red Hooded Rebel! Just be sure to use these thing sparingly on any friends you intend on keeping.

Lesson 5: Random Movement Tech.
Alright now, your almost done so let's get a little Fancy. After a Dive Cancel Roll you can throw a bomb right before you land to keep the momentum and Speed Boost from the Dive Roll going while rocketing yourself forward, almost like a Long Jump of sorts that you can chain repeatedly, at least for 4 bombs.

You can also use the No-Bonk Badge while against a wall to dive into it for a "little" extra height before doing the Wall Kick, chain that together with a Bomb High Jump and Throw a Bomb at the Wall after the Kick and you can send yourself soaring, granted this won't be too useful in most situations, but it looks cool. Finally, if you REALLY want to go fast, try using the Ice Bomb during a Slide Boost, your statue will go soaring and if it lands on a slope it'll pick up speed at a maddening rate, give it a test on that long downward hill in front of Snatcher's house.

Well, that was a pretty Full Guide huh? If you need to go over this "Tutorial" again or you just plain miss me, feel free to stop by whenever you want, now go out there and be the Good Guy this planet deserves! Good Luck.
