farmers...they well, farm well.
But do they pick the crops also ? And where do they put them ?

I really kind of need the answers,as ive got 2 farmers who have crazy farming,something like 100+ plots.Thats gonna be a lot of crops that need storing.and it would be nice if i knew if theyed put the picked crops in the fridges of just crate them.

still havent seen any evidence they pick the crop and put it in assigned storage.Anyone seen a farmer do such ?

ive only seen them place it on the floor roughly dead center of the zone you designate as your base - setting a zone as food storage had no affect on their functionality last i tried

I originally made it so they would go put it in a container which is in the food storage area, but the function I made to retrieve the container in said area had a small error in it which made it always return nothing even if there was a container there, I think i finally pushed the fix for that the last time I update this which i think was like 3 days ago ISH. so now they SHOULD put it in a container like fridgge if one is in area first, and if no containers they drop it on floor center of area. LMK if it STILL doesnt work

i dont think they are putting crops in the containers.I have a room filled with 20ish refridgerators,designated as the food area,and i find fresh crops on the ground.

hmm idk i just tried it, it worked for me, was a cubboard not a fridge though

two other issues.When they drop the crops,they drop their trowel and any water bottles they have

hmm,now the npc farmers are somehow putting the crops they pick into my chars inventory.

They pick the crops,walk over into the corner of the food storage area,and place the food they are carrying (except the crops) into a single crate in that area,then go back to harvesting and farming.

At some point after this,the picked crops appear in my char's inventory.
