Firstly, thank you for wrapping all things up from version 2.2 and making all these neat fixes since then!

I want to get my Lua-Skills up and decided to host a dedicated server with Stranded and mod it further. Everything works great so far.

I really would like to use this as a basepoint for further modding but stumbled upon a citation that I cannot find the origin from:

If you want to modify the gamemode, please use the original version of it, not mine. You can find the original one on GarrysMods.org website. And do not forget to credit the original authors of the gamemode.

Does this mean you do not allow / wish other people not to use this as the base for a modded Stranded Server? I really like your additions and would be glad if I don't have to make changes from the original 2.2 version directly from garrysmods.com .

If you allow this I will cite the original authors as well as you. Would that be okay?
