Does succession / civil war still occur with factions that have no family tree?
I've noticed there's no family tree in the grand campaign? Can civil wars / succession still occur despite no family tree?

No, they cannot occur for minor factions even if they would have a family tree like in CiG. It seems to be hardcoded in some ways or I just have not found the reason.

ok thanks, in Divide Et Impera lots of factions are unlocked and they can still have civil wars so people involved in DEI might have worked it out
