I know and I will, but very soon when I finally get this mod back on its feet it will start having updates multible times a week, some major and some minor, and for every update I need to reupload the mod to steam, for steam this is ok because they have made it...medium difficult while other pages have a very complicated process. instead I have decided to upload it to such pages when I complete the first part (revelation) then again when I release part 2 (shadows) and finally when the final part (truth) is done. and do my regular updating on steam.
My reason is simle, more time to work on the mod instead of uploading it, and does that choose to wait(or need to wait) get a 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 of the finished version.
I hope you understand my reasoning and I apologize for the inconvinience.
Firstly, I feel that whenever you're introducting new characters, you had better give a proper introduction. The Black Hand letter mentions "we". Why have these seemingly random characters taken it upon themselves to expand the DBH? What are their backstories? Did Nazir seek out these individuals? It seems odd to me that the listener, one of the highest positions in said group, randomly receives a letter informing him about expansion. Flesh this out, but don't go gung-ho. You could even tie this in with Nazir's untold backstory.
Secondly, I think the English in the aforementioned letter could use a bit of tweaking. "we have taken action to establish another base of operations in Skyrim". I'd end the sentence here. Also, "were" should be where.
Beyond this, I'd also try to spruce the letter up (falls slightly in line with my first opinion). Give it a DBH like feel. Try not to make it sound like a formality. This is a huge event, considering the DBH nearly died out because of Astrid's jealousy.
thanks for your feedback and yeah sorry english isn't my first language so some errors are to be expected. Now I or rather my brother have already made the backstories of the characters and those will be entered into the mod in an future update, it is't really any spoilers so let me explain them to you and see if it is any good.
In the first place it was the Listener that ordered the construction of the embassy, and the letter arrives to tell him that it is done, I will tweak the letter to explain this better. the "random" characters in the embassy will all have personal backstories and some will even give personal quests to the player. but the main idea is that they were all original members of the DB but decided to dissappear when things got hot or they diagree with Astrid's ways etc. Then when the player becomes the Listener and want the DB to return to it's old ways, they started reporting back in (just like all the other "destroyed" sanctuaries around Tamriel) and the Listener decided to make a new sanctuary, a central location of operation. My brother thinks characters are an increadible important part of the story and really want to get to players emotionally attached to them, this is actually playes an important role in part 2 (shadows).
well that is not good at all, I will try to fix it in the net update. I should stop playing around with the vanilla questline for references.
If you need a voice-over person, I dont mind to be one. Anything to help this mod getting better and better ;)
