i dont see how.

You could still require Avali as a prerequisite, and just have Humavalis as an addon race instead of a replacer (separate species but still using the same ship and stuff.)

Even there though, it's more work than it's really worth.

Not too much work, just enough coding know-how and patience.

But I would appreciate it if that could be done, especially if I can get them as tennants and crew members. I like the Avali, I like this modified one, though I'm not for choosing one over the other.

I don't believe so, myself. Either way, you could just ask the avali team.

Bit of a gravedig, but I'd like to add my support for having humanoid Avali as an extra race. More fluffy goodness for everyone!
