I feel like it doesn't fit aHiT's theme at all story wise. Pretty much this entire comment is spoilers, so I'm going to have a massive wall of text that's backed out. I'll include an area to put your mouse.

Here's that damn spot! Okay, I have no idea what this story is. It wouldn't make sense in-universe due to the fact that all of it actually happened (Devs answered this a long while ago in the discord). Moreover, I don't get what genre the story is supposed to be. Horror? Because the only times it feels fearful is the jump-scary bits. Not to mention the over-abundance of Rift Tokens. I wouldn't mind them so much if they weren't so easy to get half the time. Plus the ending is dissatisfying, not because it's a cliff-hanger, but because the execution of it being a real-ending-but-not-really was poor. It's just confusing, I only felt confusion. Plus, Earth being freaking destroyed is waay too dark for this kind of game. The horror moments should be similar to Act 4 of Subcon: Brief, never too edgy.

Gameplay: 7/10. Collectables are too easy to get sometimes, otherwise would've been a 9/10.
Story: 5/10. I didn't expect a doki doki literature club to be pulled on me. I honestly just expected to overthrow the high-power before I began Act 2. However, silly moments ( like the chicken nuggets in the teleporter) is spot on, and should be kept if the story was ever to get a re-write. tl;dr Too dark of a story, Subcon is the absolute darkest you should go: brief horror or dark jokes.
Overall: 8/10, I hate reading. (p.s. yes the final score is higher than the other scores since I enjoyed it that much)
