Spoilers Ahoy, Ye Have Been Warned

You know something has left an impact on you if you keep thinking about the ending. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing depends on your point of view. Either way, I have some questions about the plot, and since there doesn't seem to be any sort of sequel in the works, I'd like to get some opinions on some of the question that has puzzled me.

-First off, is there a real reason for the adult Hat Girl destroyed the planet? It seems like she was in charge of a fairly powerful company, which gave her the resources to blow up the planet, but why? I know there was some reasoning for the whole Matrix system, but I'm still confused.

-Was the Detective the same person as the girl Hat Girl broke out of the space station with? And was she also some previous incarnation of Mustache Girl? Or is this a case of just reused assets? (Major props to the creator, it's cool how everything in the mod was assets from HiT.)

-How sharp was that umbrella? That thing went straight through Hat Kid's dad(?).

There's a chance I have other questions, but if anyone else has some feel free to post them here. It can be like a party! A huge party where no one knows what's going on and we try not to light anyone on fire.
