Hot & Wet
1. Continental - Already Exists, Temperate Forest
2. Tropical - Already Exists, Jungle
3. Ocean - Already Exists, Impassible
4. Mangrove - Exists in Mod, Wetlands
5. Atoll - Would exist near equatorial Island Chains, This biome would be predominantly Water with a lot of small, rocky islands and tropical vegetation/temperatures
6. Tepui (High Altitude Jungle) - Would exist in mountainous tropical regions, less flora and fawna than in low altitude jungle, and rockier soil, but higher in minerals - high instances of fog and rain.
Cold & Wet
1. Boreal - Already Exists, Boreal Forest
2. Cascadian - Northern Coastal Regions, unlikely to extend far from Coast Lines, essentially an in-between of Temperate and Boreal Forest Biomes, Cold and very rainy, but snow is uncommon in winter.
3. Bog - Already exists in game
4. Crag - I'm not sure on this one, could be a biome like Wasteland but with water instead of nuclear waste. Could be found near Volcanic regions.
5. Glacial - Already Exists, Ice Cap.
6. Geothermal - No Shortage of Geothermal vents in this region! Fairly rare biome in Cold, Geologically Active Regions (I would think Iceland would be a good example of a Geothermal Biome)
Hot & Dry
1. Desert - Already Exists in Game
2. Arid - Already Exists in Game, Shrublands
3. Savannah - Exists in Mod
4. Dune - Already Exists in Game, Extreme Desert
5. Mesa - Does not exist, in between Arid Shrublands and Temperate Forest; Arid Environment but more Coniferous Trees than Shrublands
6. Oasis - Small fertile jungle surrounded by Desert or Extreme Desert
Cold & Dry
1. Arctic - Ice Cap probably already fills the role of both Arctic and Glacial
2. Tundra - Already Exists in Game
3. Alpine - Found in Mountainous Regions near temperate and boreal regions - Colder than Temperate, but warmer than Boreal - Lower soil fertility than in both thanks to being high altitude
4. Katpana (Frozen Desert) - Northern Extreme Desert, essentially Mongolia, Very cold autumns, winters, and springs, with searing hot summers - No growing season - There's a reason why so few people (and life in general) live permanently in the Gobi Desert.
5. Steppe - Northern Desert Biome, cold autumn and spring, and very cold winter, with hot summers (although this biome, unlike Katpana does have a summer growing season).
6. Atacama (High Altitude Desert) - Found in high altitude desert regions, quite a bit like extreme desert, with the exception that this biome experiences quite chilly winters. No growing season, life, even more so than extreme desert, struggles to survive here.
I'm getting volcano biome only in the south and usually surrounded by impassable mountains.
Norther volcanos in tundra would be a nice change.
Currently the only real threat in this area is flash storms because it never rains, so the entire biome goes up like a torch since nothing can stop it.
