ok so here's the deal: I have zero time for modding and i wont be able to fix this mod for a while. i dont know for how long. ive tried to create an alternate version to post on steam but that didnt work. what i can do is show you how to create your own version of this mod and run it from your own computer. i've tried it and it works for me - just as well as it usually does, you can still use other mods from steam and it will show up in the mod-list. its not a very quick fix but at least its a fix.
sound good? kewl. here we go:

1. open HOI4-launcher

2. open "mod tools"

3. click "create a mod"
- choose a "name" for your mod (for this demonstration i choose TEST)
- version: write 1.10.4
- directory: write TEST (it should read: mod/TEST)
- add 4 tags (any will do, it doesnt matter)
- click "create mod"
- click "OK"
- close the launcher

4. on your harddrive:
- go to: Steam / steamapps / workshop / content / 394360
- search for: "1340422660"
- open "1340422660" (this directory includes all original files from "Decisions: Speeches Audio")
- copy all files EXCEPT "descriptor.mod"-file

5. on your harddrive:
- go to: Documents / Paradox Interactive / Hearts of Iron IV / mod
- open your mod-directory (mine is called TEST - IE it will be called what you named it in the earlier step)
- paste in all files that you have copied from the folder with the original files (dont replace your own "descriptor.mod"-file!)

6. open HOI4-launcher
7. open your list of mods
8. make sure your version has been added to your playset ("add to current playset")
9. activate mod
10. play game

how to update your version:

- go to: Documents / Paradox Interactive / Hearts of Iron IV / mod
- open file called "TEST.mod" (or your name)
- make sure the line that says "supported_version" has the latest version of the game. if the latest version of the game is 1.10.5 it should read:
supported_version="1.10.5"

- go to: Documents / Paradox Interactive / Hearts of Iron IV / mod / TEST (or your name)
- open "descriptor.mod"-file
- make sure the line that says "supported_version" has the latest version of the game. if the latest version of the game is 1.10.5 it should read:
supported_version="1.10.5"
