Perhaps make it compatible with other mods that add laws/policies/ideas/whatever

HOW TO:
In common/idea_tags there is file called 00_idea.txt
If you remove everything that isn't related to colonization, and rename it to 02_idea.txt, it becomes compatible with other mods that add ideas/laws.

I recommend you do that.

That's much better!

Another thing to do would be to edit the 1936 Italy start so it starts with the "triumph in africa" national focus completed. Otherwise, Italy is locked out of the interesting part of its tree.

I haven't tested it, so i'm not sure if this works, but it might be possible to do it by going to history/countries in vanilla hoi4 files, copy and pasting "ITA - Italy.txt" to the same file location in the mod, and then adding a new line above either "oob = "ITA_1936"" or "set_technology = {" and putting "complete_national_focus = ITA_victoryinETH" in that new line.

Any chance you could help out with this mod? I haven't had much experience and you really seem to know what your talking about. I more or less just have ideas and an ability to copy and paste a few things. If you don't have time to directly help with the mod, your suggestions will still help.

I can see where the mod files are when you subscribe the them so you can take a look through them.
They are found here:

Huh, looks like he did. It doesn't work in one of my games, which is a bit weird. Maybe it's another mod messing with it, idk. Oh well, thanks for at least trying to implement my idea, even if it was already implemented lol.

Must have been, if that mod messed with Italy, I would not be suprised. Would you like to be a developer for this mod? I am not sure how the whole system works but we can give it a try.
