I reinstalled the mod on the dedicated server and manually (steam workshop) reinstalled it on my client, same issue.
We're running the most recent version of Ark, the most recent version of the mod, using the Island map. As a special note, we also had this issue with Tavan's Trough which is why we removed it and are attempting to switch to your mod.
I'm very familiar with cleanly installing and removing mods so I'm somewhat doubtful it was something I did during the install. Other mods we're running, such as stackable foundations, are also working perfectly.
Added note, I also tried to spawn in the objects manually (giveitem command) just in case the issue was limited to the crafting table, but they wouldn't place either. Also, I tried placing items in this manor both with and without the engrams being learned.
My suspicion is that this may be caused by another mod that alters the default Feeding Trough in some way, because the Fused Troughs are modified copies of the vanilla troughs, so any core changes to them, are inherited by the troughs from mods like this one.
If it is not caused by a mod, then the only other thing I can think of that may cause such an issue, is corrupted game data files, but it is unlikely since that would probably crash your server instead of preventing placement. But I would recommend doing a data verification on your server and client(s) just in case.
Hope this helps.
Now onto a new problem I just discovered. Not sure if it's specific to the Crystal Isles map or not. We built a base on a beach and had our trough out in the center of the zone just placed on the ground. Preserving trough worked beautifully, except I wish there was a way to default the green ring to off... Anyway, when we went to the powered trough we found it didn't work. It was powered but nothing inside would preserve. I did some testing, moved it around the area, even tried placing a second one. Same issue. Then I tried putting a foundation under it and suddenly it worked. Thinking it might be due to it having been on the ground, or maybe detected as in water? Not really sure. I was able to reproduce the issue and recorded a short video demonstration if needed.
I know it's an old mod, but any thoughts?
I just recently finished a mod for another game so I'll definitely have time to update my ARK mods soon, then hopefully I can get this sorted out for you guys. I'll post back here when I do.
The multiplier setting does not work.
On all troughs the value is 1.0
