Is it possible to make this available for gog users on nexus? or do you have a github link by any chance?

Let me think about the implications first. Is there a Workshop-like thing in their platform app? I suspect if there was, I would have to own this game on GOG as well to upload mods to be managed by them.

I don't think there is a gog modding section. Nexus all you need is an account to upload it. I kinda regret buying it on GoG with the games mod menu not working :(

there's no GOG modding workshop equivilant. GOG users rely on nexus and other places to get their mods.

I copied it to my google drive for GoG users: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wLj5zFxGARQvXvE9KqY5d5hQyOJMZLGa

If the Mod Authours wants it taken down just say.

To install go to your C:/User Data/*Name*/appdata/roaming/surviving mars/mods folder and extract the contnents. *name* should eb the name of your windows login and appdata is ushually hidden so you'll have to make hidden folders and files visible.

I use nexus mods, it's a little tedious to upload a mod there but once it's done, updating it is easy.

@KillerofGods : there are some web sites that allow you to download pretty much any steam mod for some games, whether the game allows external download or not. I'm not sure it's not piracy but still very usefull for non-steam users. Proprietary mod workshop is wrong imo - but usefull and better than nothing :p.

I've decided. I don't want to give up the comfort of Steam Workshop, but you are welcome to manually add the mods to your game from the GitHub repo: https://github.com/akarnokd/surviving-mars-mods

Please don't upload them to Nexus but simply download the code as zip from GitHub. Thanks.

For GOG users: Why not register on the Paradox web site (https://mods.paradoxplaza.com/games/surviving_mars) they have almost all the mods, and they are downloaded directly to your game, including updates. Every times you start the game you can click on the "Mod Manager" button to choose your mods.
