It doesn't look like but it means a lot to me all the interest you showed to me with your review! I've inverted a lot of time, thoughts and passion in my class mods (specially with 4Daughters) that seeing some else sharing the same feelings its a huge deal to me. So yeah, I really apreciatte what you done for this mod as well!
btw, I feel nostalgic as well about how much Fourth has changed... is not easy make healers interesting, haha~
To be honest, this class mod kind of brought be back into darkest dungeon. I was burnt out on it for a very long time, but one day I just decided to install a tonne of character mods and have one last go before I got around to uninstalling it.
I probably only picked this one because of the artwork :P
the four of them arrived by that town event very early in the game, and I just decided to put them all on a team and take them into a dungeon.
It was an utter disaster, I lost all of them but the Second, but even then I saw that there was a complexity to these characters that there just wasn't anywhere else. Each of them needed a lot of thought to be put into team composition, but if you put that thought in they were so rewarding to play.
I think one of my favourite moments in this game was when I figured out how to make the old Impose Supremacy useful by shuffling her back into the second position immediately after she used it.
and there was something definitely thrilling about wandering around the dungeon with the fourth at death's door. (and something very saddening about the 'blocked from life' achievement)
I took that remaining Second and far later on she was slaying the brigand vvulf and the shuffling horror.
and I enjoyed it so much that I started a new estate. and another.
and it never felt stale.
I'm sure at least some of that was the constant changes you were making, ranging from huge overhauls to minor reworks, but it was also me discovering new ways to play with them.
and I haven't played a game without this mod installed since then.
These are by far the most insane, weird, and fun classes I have played. Thank you for making the barrier to entry quite a bit easier to get past so I could enjoy them.
