The forbidden blaster (shotgun slot):

• + sets enemies on fire
  
• + no reload
  
• - -50% firing speed
  
• - only 5 ammo
  
• - no ammo from dispensers and only 1 ammo from all ammo packs

The industry standard (PDA slot):

• +50% building health
  
• +10% building damage
  
• +gain speed boost on sentry kill
  
• -5% sentry damage and building defense per sentry kill (counter resets on sentry destruction)
  
• -2% teleportaiton speed per teleportation (counter resets on teleporter destruction)
  
• -If your buildings get destroyed, you can only bild these building again after death

Stats:
