Feature Request
This is a place to post requests for additional weapons as well as features.

NOTE: This does not mean weapons will make it into this mod or a different mod.
Only certain Real World weapons will be concidered for this mod (only if they fit my archetype)

Some weapon ideas may eventually end up in a different mod depending on if they fit the archetype.

i was wondering if there's an LMG variant of the Carbines or Battle Rifles in the pipeline at all? Just not a fan of the cannons for the Grenadiers and remember the Sparks weapons having that option. Thanks for the ports regardless.

I'm still working on additions to the mod. I have thought about an LMG variant of the Battle rifle. Right now it still animates like an Assault Rifle not sure if I'll try to change that or not. I added the cannon but I think sometime soon I'll add it in there as an option. I always forget about Grenadiers and Sparks because I never use them, I take a more stealthy approach, but I know some people do so I'll work on it when I can.

can we get a version of the mod where the base weapons are completely clean without attachments until you apply them? it annoys me how they start with a kajillion of them on one gun

@Wyatt I'm confused as to what you are asking? Are you subscribed to my other mod as well? This mod starts all weapons without attachments. Some weapons like the sniper have a scope by default but they will always have a scope because it's a sniper rifle. My other mod Centrals Battle Rifle is an older Cosmetic version that starts the weapons with attatchments tbat are not changable so if you are subscribed to that mod you will see those weapons as well as the ones in this mod. Could you clarify what you mean?

Maybe have the Drum version of the Rifle for a Cannon and have the other one with just a normal Mag be for the Rifle since it doesnt need to have two for Assult Rifles really. In Sparts original they used the "cannons" like rifles which is fine really since even with normal un modded cannons the soldier will raise them up to aim...

@AzureTerra I just did an update that adds a Drum Rifle as Cannon as well as Mag Varients. Additional Weapons are able to be disabled in config for those that don't want to use model A vs model B. I kept a drum version of the AR because I like having it on my other soldiers not just grenadiers.:steamhappy:

@Wyatt yea with the old mod I wansn't able to get the upgrades to work without crashing the game. Once I figured out what changed between Legacy and WOTC I was able to make changed however it required an entriely new mod. Now this mod includes more weapons (all of which start at base and are fully upgradable) including some Magnetic weapons.

Just wondering if you would consider changing the stock on the carbine rifles to use the standard assault rifle stock?

I'm working on learning a new program that will allow me to edit weapon models so I can make changes to things like the stock on the carbine as well as possibly add in some new weapons for other tiers. It could be a little while before we see these additions but the carbine standard stock is on my list.

One of two things needs to happen A) I need to figure out and understand how you did that or B) we work together to create amazing things

I love that image but I have no clue how you did that and my Editor doesn't seem to work I go in to try to find anything and nothing is there all I can seem to do is add things that are already created. Which is why I have Sparts weapons but no customs yet like the one in the picture you sent. I have full intention on adding more I just currently haven't been able to figure it out. If I had that and another version with the upgraded stock I believe I know how I could get it to upgrade to a different stock.

Hey so sorry for the late reply! More than happy to explain what I did to get the stock on there but I can't take any credit for creating it as that stock was in the game already I just used blender to attach it, to be honest I'm a pleb at modding man so I doubt I'd be much help if any.

Here is a version of the longer barrel model with the assault rifle stock, again it won't upgrade but it does change colour.
