You don't need bots to play, it works with just a single player, but it's much more fun with others. Once you pick a team (or free-for-all), the round will go into Preparation. Once the round begins (10 seconds by default), you will be given a list of items to find under your "C" (Context) menu. Find all of these props and active ("E") them to collect it.

The prop won't disappear, it'll just be counted. Collect all the props on your scavenger list to win.
