What games do you need?
To play Prop Hunt what games do I need to get? I've looked a whole bunch to get multiple answers, hoping to get one solid one. I've been told I need Half-Life 2, CS:S, Gmod, and TF2 separately. Do I just need Gmod or Gmod and something else?

You can play with only GMod, but for some maps you need CS:S. There's a discussion how to install props and maps without owning CS:S.

The general problem of textures is: servers using maps that are not from GMod.
So, if server uses maps from CS:S you need textures from this game.
The same for maps from other games.
