This isn't a game. It's a gamemode for GMod. You need to buy GMod to play with this gamemode.

and if i download it do i have to extract it or is it automaticaly installed in gmod

i do have GMod, i just dont know how to install it, ive downloaded it, just have no idea of how to install.

*SOLVED*

you press subscribe then go onto GMod and it should automatically install, just subscribe to prop hunt then start GMod.

how to start prophunt then? its "installed" aka its subscribed. have no clue in how to start it.

once subscribed, start up GMod as you would normally, then when GMod is up and running, press the multiplayer one, and wait for the list to load up:
DarkRP
Sandbox
etc...

you should see prophunt there, click it... click the server you want, enjoy playing prop hunt.

same problem here, got garrys mod, tried a map, but got purple screen and error pictures

I just figured it out...
You can't play Prophunt until you buy CS:S (Counter Strike: Source)
The maps they use in Prophunt are taken from Counter Strike so without the game, you can't play Prophunt.
