Bugs And Issues
Please Post Any Bugs And Issues Here And I'll Try To Keep It Up To Date!


Known Bugs:
- Vanilla autopilot is buggy af (returns going sideways, bugs out when trying to reach coords etc)[own autopilot in the works to fix this]

*TO THOSE WHO HAVE WIGGLING/BADLY MOVING MINERS:*
wiggling, general erratic behaviour and flying off into the sunset unnanounced is a result of the vanilla remote control autopilot, and keens latest bout of 'fixes' they put on it.
Please be patient as I am currently making my own autopilot to once and forall overhaul and overthrow the keen vanilla one, however, this will take some time, but it is next on my list of fixes to merge.


- (not a bug but a common mistake) connector CANNOT be on the front or rear of the ship only top bottom left or right of the ship, as stated in the setup guide,
if you are having docking issues with a rearmounted connector, change it's location, recompile redock and then try again.

- (keen bug waiting for fix) if the miner ever gets "stuck" when it clearly shouldn't please try nudging the miner or using an overridden gyro to 'break it free' as this is a keen bug that means slowly accelerating/moving objects sometimes just get fixed in position.

Fixed Bugs:
- Large asteriods can cause performance related issues.
- cargo can sometimes fill to 90% and stop collecting meaning miner never returns
- strange exception error
- Restarting a game sometimes makes the miner loose progress
- Copy-pasting a miner keeps the original miners data/dockpoint/targeted roid
- The instructions for turning off the Thruster override give the wrong line
- Sometimes won't offload full cargo in middle of drill run
- Ship won't fully offload ore if there are a lot of cargo containers

This mod is in blueprint format, not a script. Why is that? A script would be much more user friendly.

you can simply copy the script from the block, save it somewhere then paste it at your will when playing survival, the module is made so people who don't know SE that well can copypaste it and still have fun trying it out

it will fly up to the asteroid turn around and fly away or will fly near the asteroid and get confused and stuck

It uses the vanilla remote control to get close to the asteroid, if your gps is too close to the asteroid it will then try and back away to stop itself crashing into it

Thought I would reply in here. Its doing the same thing from a asteroid station. undocks goes 50 then stops with the drills on ill include a screen shot of what it says in the script below

can you take another screenshot and scroll down on the right so I can see the bottom half of the current mining conditions?

How is it not working? :)
One thing I've seen some people do is delete the '@' symbols when pasting the gps, these need to be left either side of the pasted gps otherwise it will say 'invalid input'

Hmm, then that means it's definitely a problem with the vanilla autopilot, have you tried it with any other ship?

Not as of yet that will be my next step when I get home from work. I will do a vanilla build in a new world with no mods and see what happens.

Ok testing with pure vanilla and it does go to the location however it seems to just keep going even when full. I will have to look at the other miner and see what its doing there. It has to be clashing with some kind of mod.

Might well be, I take it you were testing in creative? Yeah miners will never see themselves as full as cargo in creative is unlimited, hence will never drop off!
