One of the limitations I saw was that you can't use a moving ship as the base for the miners to operate from.
Does that mean that they have to launch from a space station, or can a ship be used as long as it doesn't move?
The use-case I'm envisioning is flying a mobile refining platform up to an asteroid that has a mining drone attached, parking the platform, activate the drone, then leave and work on other things while it mines.
The purpose is to reduce travel times of the mining drone, especially for far away asteroids.
