Lietberg Quest line and Scenario
The idea is to design and add in game several battles and quests that would form some kind of scenario. It could be the main objective for one of the chapters.

Really different than the usual Quest Battles as Taurox will mostly fight alone (backed up maybe by some special units).

I really like TW quest batttles for Legendary Lords, they really add a lot of flavor to all of them. I'm starting this thread even though this project is a huge undertaking, and some of my ideas may not be possible to do.

Speech

The Brass Bull was not always a metallic monstrosity. Once a fearsome chieftain of the Minotaur tribes, Taurox enforced his brutal will upon the lesser beasts of the forest by felling any creature who dared meet his stern gaze and then devouring them alive. The Brass Bull was merciless beyond measure, and the ground at his feet was ever wet with the freshly spilled blood of friend and foe alike.[1a]

So it was that one night an emissary of the fell powers crawled into the mortal realm from the devastated remains of one of Taurox’s rivals. The hell-borne nightmare was sinewy and crimson-skinned, coiled with unholy energy, and it met Taurox’s gaze with its hollow black eyes. This proved to be a costly mistake. Before it could utter a single syllable in its dark tongue, Taurox grabbed it by its wattled throat and bit off its head. There was a moment’s silence, then a violent thrashing as Taurox spasmed and shook, seized by a vision of a world awash with blood and afloat with corpses. Taurox roared and screamed, biting and clawing at himself in his convulsions before taking up his axes and slaying every one of his tribe one by one.[1a]

But he did not stop there. For a year and a day, Taurox raged across the lands in a blind rampage, killing every living thing he could find. Tribes of Beastmen, covens of witches, nomadic Strigany caravans, mercenary Ogres, Empire patrols, proud knights, two-headed Giants, all fell to Taurox’s boundless wrath. When he came upon the vale of Lietberg he killed so many citizens that a river of blood was born at his feet. Exhausted, Taurox collapsed in the crimson stream, and he would have died then and there, for his energies were completely spent. But the dark ones had uses for him still.

That would be the first quest and battle, where he's be alone againt either his own army, or several beastmen tribes coming in sucessive waves of renforts.

Successive quests: Sevral successive little skirmish battles: covens of witches, Strigany caravans, mercany Ogres (probably using Chaos Dragon Ogre Shagooth), Empires patrols (armies with units from Empire rooster), proud knights (bretonia), two-headed Giants (well, will be quite fun to create the unit). This can be different batles or all in one map.

If I understand the lore correctly, Taurox is alone during all of this, so the quest battles should restrict the army to only one unit. Since he's 1v? in all of these encounters, the number of units and their strength should be properly tuned.

One way of doing so, is to give Taurox really strong buff, like some kind of Frenzy and spells that would make it stronger than usual, able to take on these challenges.

Maybe, the level difficulty of the campaign and battle could influence how strong and how many units he'll face.

Quest battles may be lost, in which case another quest and scenario branch should follow. We could also introduce some decisions to take.

Compatibility: Should be worked in another independant mod, and compatible with crynsos faction unlocker. If Taurox unit not available, use bst_doombull from Mixu's LL pack. If not available, fallback to bst_gorebull.

Maps

Each battle will need a map. They could use:

- A map already included in the game. This is the simplest and the best in term of compatibility (does not add a new dependency to other mods).
- A GCCM map. This is the coolest, as there is a ton of Map, and some of them are really really impressive.
- Rely on few specific mod like I did for Drakwald Village.
- Design custom map using Terry.

In order to make it easy on the user, there is a way to fallback on a standard map if the required submod is not enabled or present.

I dont think he will, and especially dont want him to make an OP lord. Just use the OP lords mods for that.
