I don't have portraits

I mean, i actually have them, but they are default ones. This can be pretty stupid question, but do i need original Kaiserreich mod to run Kaiserreich anime? I had reinstalled the game, but nothing changed. I really need this.

Yes, you need Kaiserreich in order to play the anime submod.for Kaiserreich.

Subscribe to this outstanding mod, enable ours, and then everything should work.
