Rotary Airlock

Bug Reports
Just wanted to provide more info on the known issue with the "disappearing door frame" bug. It seems to be strictly a cosmetic issue (oxugen doesn't leak even though visually there are gaps). The revolving door remains; its just the frame that likes to disappear sometimes. Whats weird is that I will load a world and the door frames will render correctly for some doors, but not others. No idea why. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Hope you manage to sort this out Nuke. Still really love this mod despite the graphical issue. It makes proper airlocks such a an easier thing to manage.

I think this might be an LOD issue, I'll see. I have also seen this issue in my worlds, and the block appears when you cross the threshold of the block space. This does not occur all the time, and I have not seen it occur when it's the only mod in the world.

New bug?

After a server reload, the doors do nada, I have to grind it to hack, and reweld, to be able to open it.

Ownership is fine, of course.

The error I pasted there in the comments actually stopped on my test server configured for localhost access (127.0.0.1).
But it still persists when I make it public.

So the door is rotating on the wrong axis for me, also the collision is not normal either, with the player colliding with the incorrect door position. heres a picture of one of the broken doors. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2141142795

The bug I'm getting is that the door launches me back at my ship whenever I approach the door.

I think Sunny, below, is having the same issue as me. When I approach an airlock while my ship is moving (and sometimes not), it get instantly killed and launched in a random direction. Is there a hitbox issue, or is the block's hitbox fundementally flawed? Other than that, this mod is great. 4/5, one star taken away for the bug.

Hey nukeguard, seems like i can't add the rotary airlock to my modlist. I tried to add it with several ships and non shows your mod. Pls give a feedback and thanks for this quality of life mod :)

If you go out of the room to get too close to the glass of Rotary Airlock, you start to suffocate.

this is because I can't really control the air inside the block, it's mitigated the best it can be without scripting as 50/50 somewhere near the middle is where it switches

It should be visible on same row as doors, you should also be able to search for it. Is the mod in your world mod list?

Also adding in to the pile, door kills me if I try to use it while the ship is moving, also makes a clanging noise. If I use another control panel to open it, the clanging stops and I can use the door, but any change in speed or direction turns it deadly and begins the clanging noise again.

The disappearing frame glitch has started happening in my game too, since the Feb 2021 game patch. I tried the only advice that I've found up to now, that being repaint them - it worked when I tested it with one airlock, but only for that session. When I saved, exited and reloaded later the airlock I repainted/fixed went back to frameless-ness.

Noticed one oddity in that - if I fix an airlock block by repainting it and save the game whilst looking directly at it, then the airlock frame stays put when I load the game up again. Not very much use though, as if I save whilst *not* looking at it afterwards, the airlock's frame is invisible once more when the save is reloaded later.

Tried other stuff on the off-chance such as validating game files, adjusting the mod's place in the list (admittedly, I have a few). No joy, sadly.

Has anyone discovered a permanent fix for this yet, or identified any other mods that could be conflicting? Getting tired of thinking 'Sweet mercy, that looks like crap' every time I enter or leave a base or ship where I've fitted these and I don't want to go back to two-block airlocks. This mod is one of my favourites, with blocks extensively distributed in my game and I'd retire/replace it with a heavy heart.

As above, inner door mesh seems to have a volatile hitbox when our ship is moving at virtually any nonzero speeds, but in our case, there's no clang-y sounds or visual problems with it; it only does anything weird when you enter the door chamber and it thrashes you around or kills you
