It can take some time to level into the upper levels on RoA. One can easily level into the teens and twenties in a fairly short time - a few weeks - but higher can take time.. Planning a new character to try out the custom classes could be a bit frustrating so this module allows for local character creation and self levling up and down to try out and plan character builds.

Also a good idea to know what you want ahead of time if joining a DMed game where you are allowed to make a character and are given levels for a high level game - knowing what you want and how to make it avoids confusion.

Yes you do get to keep any characters made for games - so playing in a DMed high level game is one way to get a high level character quickly on RoA.
