Synergy Embermage vs Necro?

So in synergy which of these 2 seem to be the main power house? The both run off different mechanics.....summons vs spells....but as far as end game elite potential who has more power/ out performs the other?

If you mean the most DPS, probably the embermage. But they can both have DPS caster builds, Necro can be Melee, Caster or Pet build.
