A tank does not fulfill the purpose of this mod.

I've not played it yet, but Platinum being used for things like Teleporter Cores and Modules, that sort would be neat. Give it a unique useful purpose, maybe just don't make it too cheap though!

no like a tank npc/monster that will spawn on midnight planets or whatever you choose (getting kinda bored with just fighting the penguin tanks)

platinum can be used as alloying additive for the production of high-strength steel, which can be used for making weapons(platinum sword, 2-handed hammer, scythe(the same 2-handed hammer but with different damage, attack speed, abilities, and etc), swords, maces (same sword but different in dmg, attack speed and etc) and etc) armour, blocks and etc.

Nice idea. Also would you guys want me to make all the mining tools in this mod to be a separate mod (it will still be part of Starbound++)?

im thinking more armor, i just feel that Starbound is really hard in the first 10-ish hours of gameplay because you have really bad armor

the only "good" armor i know of from the really early start is the space set from the erchius mine or what its called

I've seen there's a separate version for FU.

You could familiarize yourself with the 'test' operation as described e.g. in the following thread:
https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/basic-patching-now-with-path-guide-v1-9.84496/

Test if FU is not installed, then do the FU incompatible stuff.
Test if FU is installed, then do the stuff which is only compatible with FU.
For everything else, no test is needed.

That might enable you to merge the non-FU and FU versions of this mod into one mod, making the maintenance and expansion easier in the long run.

I have a few ideas if you transfer the tech card from the architect table and you will also take the reinforced tech block from the basic table to the work table

Maybe add the Early Access quests that the Outpost civilians used to have?
