I crushed the rebels in three months as the UK but could only annex the land myself not give it back to the puppet raj. When they left over Imperial Federation borders got seriously messy!

For me i get events about border skirmishing but nothing happens

I crushed british raj and formed india..but then i exploded like mittle afrika without any cores or casus bellis!

To give land to your puppet click on them where the countries are listed on the left side of the peace deal and then click on territory you want them to have
